Remote Jobs with the Fastest Wage Growth Today

A new report on wage growth offers sobering insight into the slow rate of the nation’s economic recovery—but there’s good news, too. For certain professions, wage growth is outpacing national averages at a fairly brisk pace.

The Glassdoor report, detailing 10 jobs with the fastest wage growth, may be particularly heartening for job seekers looking for remote positions in several of the categories where wages are rising. While overall wage growth increase has been a less-than-stellar 1.8% compared to September 2016 rates, the increases have been robust, especially for skilled workers in the computer and technologybusiness development, and medical and health professions.

To be sure, the report notes that a few job titles with a fast growth rate are in industries where pay isn’t necessarily high to begin with, in general. The Glassdoor information is based on research and analysis of salary data collected by the website. We cross-referenced Glassdoor’s top 10 list with jobs in the Remote.co database to come up with the list below.
