KenCrest is seeking an Infant- Toddler Speech Language Pathologist/ Transitional Housing Outreach Coordinator to provide a blend of direct SLP/ Transitional Housing Outreach Coordinator services to infants and toddlers receiving early intervention. You will be responsible for providing 0-3 early intervention services in alignment with OCDEL’s Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) coaching model, maintaining all documentation in accordance with state and county expectations. Provide SLP services in home and community for approximately 19 hours per week in the city of Philadelphia as well as provide outreach support and education to the various transitional housing programs monthly (approximately 2-3 sites visit per week).
As an Infant- Toddler SLP & Outreach Coordinator, you will:
- Provide direct and indirect services to children and their families
- Collaborate with team members and other agencies as needed
- Implement FGRBI coaching model
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation for billing and progress
- Complete 24 hours of annual training as approved through EITA
- Build relationships with caregivers to share information about early intervention services
- Use required documents and follow county processes to refer children for early intervention services
- Attends Outreach Events at Transitional Housing Sites throughout the city (10-12 per month) to provide resources and information to families
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology (MS or MA)
- Licensure in the state of Pennsylvania and ongoing completion of approved continuing education hours in the two (2) year mandatory renewal period to maintain licensure
- One (1) or more years of experience with young children and families
