Role Summary
Anthropologie is seeking a Senior Editorial Writer to craft highly engaging copy with a fashion and editorial point of view. This role plays a critical part in shaping the Anthropologie voice, ensuring consistency and creativity across in-store, print, email, digital, social, and seasonal and evergreen campaigns. The ideal candidate is a skilled writer with 360 experience but a specialty for editorial content and longform copy. You'll partner closely with strategists, designers, and art directors, and have a high comfort level co-creating, pitching and presenting to senior leaders. This role supports Anthropologie Group (Anthropologie, Anthropologie Weddings, Anthropologie Home) as well as Terrain.

This role offers the flexibility of remote work alongside 2-3 days per week in our Philadelphia office, where you'll collaborate closely with our creative and editorial teams. Role Responsibilities
- Act as lead copywriter and team expert for editorial longform content on site, social, print, and out of home and marketing adjacent deliverables
- Act as team point of contact when collaborating cross-functionally on tactical concepts and initiatives for fashion editorial storytelling
- Support Senior Manager, Editorial Strategy with editorial franchise development, content series, and other editorial frameworks to guide the rest of the Brand Narrative team
- Support managers and senior managers of the Brand Narrative and Voice team in developing resources and efficiencies to optimize the work
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team by reviewing work, top editing, providing initial feedback, leading brainstorms, and exemplifying leadership skills.
- Stay continually in tune with fashion, culture, and pop culture to ensure storytelling is fresh, modern, and relevant and lead brainstorms and inspiration sharing to immerse team members
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting, content creation, or marketing (preferably within retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands, magazines, or other editorial publications).
- Strong editorial skills with the ability to craft persuasive and engaging messaging.
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and style consistency.
- Experience supporting editorial and content strategies.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems.
- Adaptability and problem-solving.
- Strategic thinking and consumer engagement.
