Note: This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility to extend based on team needs and performance. 

 
Your Day to Day 
As an AI Copywriter & Editor, you would be working on  

• Writing and executing brand- and product-level copy across channels, including short-form ad copy (digital display, video, audio, social, emails) and occasional longer-form content (web copy, blogs, eBooks, infographics) using AI tools to produce high-quality work at scale and speed 
   

• Prompting, generating, and rigorously editing AI-assisted drafts to meet GoTo’s rigorous creative and brand standards while distinguishing truly excellent writing from AI slop and elevating output accordingly 

• Applying sharp editorial judgment to ensure every piece of copy is not only well-written, but strategically sound and creatively appropriate for its channel, audience, and campaign objective 

• Concepting and developing creative marketing campaign ideas that are unique, emotionally resonant, and strategically sound. You’ll think both visually and verbally from high-level concept through execution 

• Evolving and stewarding our brand voice, bringing compelling brand and product stories to life across channels while ensuring consistency with brand messaging, positioning, and tone guidelines 

• Collaborating and presenting ideas across teams, confidently sharing your work, engaging in constructive feedback, and contributing strategic thinking within a complex marketing organization 
   

What We’re Looking For 
As an AI Copywriter & Editor, your background will look like 

• 2-4 years of experience in a copywriting or similar creative role within a fast-paced marketing, brand, or agency environment 
   

• Demonstrated fluency with AI writing tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar), which means not just dabbling, but integrating them into day-to-day creative workflows 
   

• A strong editorial eye: the ability to critically assess AI-generated output, identify where it falls short, and edit it confidently to a professional standard 
   

• Proven ability to write across multiple mediums, including social, digital display, video, audio, and longer-form content 

• Experience developing and presenting creative ideas to internal stakeholders and/or external partners 

• A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic campaign-level thinking and results, including the ability to apply performance insights or metrics to improve creative work 

• Highly self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage deadlines, collaborate cross-functionally, and consistently deliver high-quality work

Annual Base Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $87,000.00

The above shows our ranges from minimum to maximum and is displayed in the full-time equivalent amount. Your compensation will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for a variable pay component and benefits.
