Science of Nutrition Taxonomy Author
TEL Library is looking for a creative person to create a Science of Nutrition college-level course (this could be one or multiple positions). The vision is to create a course that is useful to the everyday person – what should they know about health and nutrition? What is the science behind these concepts? What should they not believe about food, weight loss, or self-care?
A masters degree and teaching experience is required, it can be in a related field: education or instructional design. You will be designing the scope and sequence of the course as well as writing learning objectives for each lesson. We need someone that can break down complex concepts into written instructions by using easy to understand language and explanations, analogies, metaphors, examples, and scenarios. This is a virtual/flexible working position and we train you to write the course outline, lessons, and assessments according to our template and style. We pay anywhere from $50-$100 per lesson/assessment depending on the commitment/course difficulty/task difficulty. Great for current teachers and/or graduate students looking to earn some extra money. We are very supportive of ambitious educators and instructional designers!
A CV or Resume and a writing sample of an explanation of a concept are required.
