The role:

Lead, coach and inspire a team of Account Managers to meet the ongoing needs of Rock Contents named accounts while accomplishing their individual revenue goals. As a new team at Rock with 4 AM’s currently, you will be empowered to build and establish the structure, processes and grow the team in the future while managing the day-to-day operations and metrics. In this newly created role, you will operate at the intersection of sales and customer success to expand, enhance and strengthen existing accounts with our largest enterprise customers in the US. We are scaling in North America and you will make a huge impact on this team and Rock Content as a whole. Join our journey to IPO!

    • Set the targets and quotas for each Account Manager based on the business goals and the strategy for the named accounts
    • Consolidate performance and results reports and make suggestions for improvements
    • Establish the list of accounts for each Account Manager balancing service capacity, business needs and TCV
    • Approve the OKRs established by each Account Manager
    • Coordinate with the Account Managers involved in a global or regional operation the contract terms and conditions offered by Rock Content in each country
    • Establish the process and structure for the team to provide opportunities for revenue growth
    • Approve each account plan and lead account plan reviewing process
    • Set the SLA’s within the account management structure
    • Implement initiatives to improve the team performance
    • Continually improve the eNPS results
    • Lead recruiting and hiring activities
    • Establish action plans to improve team career paths, employee recognition systems, promotions, etc.
    • Identify the team needs, prepare training materials and sessions to help them achieve their individual goals as well as Rock’s objectives towards the named account’s portfolio
    • Ensure that project/organization milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budget
    • Communicate and promote company values and culture
    • Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders

You will need:

    • Ability to motivate, coach and manage the performance of sales/AM teams
    • 8+ years of sales/account management experience
    • 3+ years of leading or managing people in sales/account management
    • Ability to think strategically while also operating tactically
    • Highly collaborative, confident, organized, and self-motivated
    • Experience in SaaS or a high growth startup company is preferred
    • Business, Communications, Marketing or related degree
    • To be based in Canada or the US
