Introduction to Direct Interactions

Based in Seattle, Direct Interactions builds contact centers staffed by Americans that work from home. We are responsible in our business practices and provide home-based work opportunities for all Americans, including people with disabilities. Clients entrust Direct Interactions to communicate effectively and strengthen relationships with their customers.

Interviewing specialists are responsible for completing initial candidate interviews via phone. Individuals with exceptional customer service experience, strong communication skills and experience and an interest in recruiting are a great match.


  • Completes phone interviews and documents candidates responses effectively screening in/out of the process based on position requirements, making recommendations to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Evaluates and Scores candidate against position requirements.
  • Effectively communicates with candidates via the telephone and e-mail.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism while working with colleagues and candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Strong typing skills while documenting candidate responses. Must be able to effectively listen and type simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management and customer service skills
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills.
  • Basic knowledge of PC hardware and software (Internet Explorer, Word and Excel).
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Quiet home office for conducting interviews

Minimum Requirements

  • Legally Able to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years experience working in a virtual, work at home call center required
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Prior Recruiting/Interviewing Experience

Technical Requirements

  • Computer running Windows Operating System (7, 8 or 10). XP is no longer supported. Mac’s and tablets/iPads are not compatible with our clients’ software.
  • DSL or Cable internet (Wireless and Satellite are not compatible with our software)
  • Current antivirus and antispyware
  • Installed, operational firewall
  • Landline telephone with corded headset

Hours : Vary depending on client needs.

Training: TBD

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

Please note that a LANDLINE TELEPHONE is required.
