Current Role & Growth Opportunity:

We are seeking an Informatica B2B Data Architect who is looking for new challenges and opportunities to work with the latest application and data integration technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong Informatica skills coupled with current experience in B2B, EAI, ESB, web services, service- oriented architectures. Key to success in this position will require a strong understanding of data structures and business objects, specifically relating to Healthcare Payers and an ability to interact directly with clients. The Data Architect will be required to work in a team environment and will be responsible for full life cycle software development including new development, design/architecture, and implementation of B2B integration solutions using Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter, and related B2B transport and business content formats. The data architect will also be required to consult with clients as needed during projects for data acquisition support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess and profile source data mapping to adhere to specific data structures, ensuring data quality is clearly defined in order to meet requested business use cases
  • Summarizes testing and validation results and be able to communicate and make recommendations on the best course for remediation
  • Resourceful in arriving at solutions using existing or available resources
  • Participate in agile work environment, attending daily scrum meetings and completing sprint deliverables on time
  • A reputation for reliably delivering well considered, well tested and performant code
  • Contribute to our evolving development and testing standards and best practices
  • Knowledge and experience in discrete data elements required by healthcare payer and provider analytics
  • Must go above and beyond to be a strong team player and drive team success
  • Confidence pairing with other engineers of all levels
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, using Mede’s standard technical templates, methodologies and standards
  • Understand integration project scope and follow templates for requirements definition
  • Conduct meetings, internal and with clients, to review integration progress, upcoming activities and deliverables required to fulfil the Integration project delivery
  • Create and maintain data integrity by providing quality data profiling ensuring known constraints allowing integration creation to operate in the Client’s production environment
  • Work with project resources to forecast sourcing schedule to ensure workforce coverage for the entire project lifecycle
  • Coordinate schedule of activities with the Project Manager for planning and resource coordination required to deliver
  • Help to record achievements, expenses, and measures for success
  • Ensure all project information is updated in Financial Force every week
  • Ensure project timesheets are approved on time every week

Essential Education, Experience and Interests:

  • Industry background in Healthcare Data, especially Payer systems such as HealthRules, Facets, QNXT, etc
  • Enterprise Software Packaged/SaaS Integration Experience – 4+ years
  • Enterprise Integration Tool (Informatica is preferred) Experience – 6+ years
  • Proven client-facing experience with enterprise level customers as part of the Professional Services Team
  • Proven experience of success working in a fast-paced, maturing company between 100-500 associates – 2+ years
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year institution preferred or equivalent work experience
