Inside Sales Representative – Insurance Vertical

Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating interested prospects in AgentMethods’ products via outbound calling, and converting those prospects into paying customers by demonstrating our products. The successful candidate has previous experience effectively making outbound prospecting calls and handling inbound sales calls, navigating to decision makers, identifying potential new clients and business opportunities and closing sales.

Essential Duties:

  • Acquire customers by making daily outbound calls
  • Convert inbound web and phone leads into paying customers daily
  • Demo our products to prospects in a way that aligns with their needs
  • Effectively research and qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly individual sales quotas are exceeded
  • Have a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, industry and client needs.
  • Other duties as assigned by management


  • Experience in a competitive fast-paced sales environment
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry – while being a licensed insurance agent is not required, past insurance sales experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with internet technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
