Accreditation Consultant (CoC Cancer Registry Manager)

Job Overview

The Accreditation Consultant (CoC Cancer Registry Manager) is responsible for overseeing accredited cancer program projects in accordance with Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited program standards, completing all tasks related to project setup, implementation and training for assigned project(s), supervising and supporting project teams, managing workflow/work assignments, following standardized procedures, and complying with documentation practices and requirements.


Requirements and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 year of Cancer Registry experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of registry management or other health-related management experience – (Preferred)
  • CoC accreditation, compliance, and abstracting experience
  • Personal computer with Windows 7 operating system or higher
  • Successful completion of pre-employment skills assessment exam
  • A minimum of 1 year of current CoC Accredited Cancer Program experience – (Preferred)


  • Must have current Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, or related field – (Preferred)
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) – (Preferred)
