Description
SAIC is seeking a Multimedia Design Analyst to provide part-time support for an Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) development effort. The position will develop, update, and maintain interactive training content and instructional storyboards incorporating multimedia elements using tools such as Articulate 360/ Storyline. Responsibilities include incorporating feedback from SME’s, testers, and end-users; developing and maintaining supporting documentation; and publishing and managing Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packages for integration with the customer’s Learning Management Systems (LMS), ATIS Moodle. The position will also support ensuring courseware meets applicable requirements, including Section 508 considerations.
This is a remote, part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
Role Summary:
The selected candidate will support the design, development, and maintenance of interactive training content and multimedia courseware, working collaboratively with SME’s, testers, and technical and project teams to deliver effective, accessible, and quality training material.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop interactive training content incorporating multimedia elements, including videos, animations, graphics, and other interactive components
- Develop, update, and maintain instructional storyboards and associated training materials
- Create and maintain interactive courseware using tools such as Articulate 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Adobe Photoshop
- Review and revise training content based on feedback from SME’s, testers, and end-users using Articulate Review 360
- Publish and manage SCORM packages through SCORM Cloud for integration with customer LMS environments, including ATIS Moodle
- Ensure training content and multimedia deliverables meet applicable Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Create and maintain documentation supporting troubleshooting, content updates, and system improvements
- Document defects, discrepancies, technical issues and support resolution as appropriate
- Collaborate with engineering, development, test, and project management teams throughout the development and review process
- Supports the review, testing, and quality assurance of instructional content and multimedia deliverables
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors degree; years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in multimedia design, instructional systems design, or related field
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Experience developing interactive training content and multimedia courseware
- Experience with Articulate 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop
- Experience developing, updating, and maintaining instructional storyboards and training materials
- Experience with SCORM and publishing/managing courseware for integration with ATIS Moodle
- Experience incorporating SME, tests, and end-user feedback into instructional content and courseware
- Experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and accessible training content
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting DoD or Government programs
- Experience with Section 508 Compliance
- Experience working within Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments
- Demonstrated experience working in customer environments, coordinating and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including Government personnel, engineers, developers, testers and subcontractor/prime contractor organizations
- Ability to independently develop, review, and revise technical and administrative documents, organize raw input, and adapt documentation for various audiences and stakeholders
