Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist consultancy within the Multicultural Mental Health Coordinator service across Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services.
- Deliver expert transcultural mental health consultancy and support for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) consumers, carers and clinical teams.
- Provide advanced clinical leadership, assessment, education and care coordination to support safe, person-centred mental health service delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve cultural capability, clinical outcomes and recovery-focused care across the service.
- Lead quality improvement, workforce education and evidence-based practice initiatives to strengthen multicultural mental health services.
About you:
We are seeking a compassionate and culturally capable mental health professional with advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership skills and a passion for improving outcomes for diverse communities.
- Registered Nurse with current NMBA registration and demonstrated advanced experience in contemporary mental health and/or addiction nursing practice.
- Strong knowledge of multicultural mental health, cultural competency and the ability to provide expert clinical consultancy within a public mental health framework.
- Highly developed communication, education and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence practice and build collaborative relationships.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and professional development, with postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field highly regarded.
