Job Description:

Experienced and aspiring human service professionals are encouraged to consider an available full-time Intake Caseworker position with Liberty Healthcare and the Pennsylvania Adult Protective Services Program.

As an Intake Caseworker, you will take an active role in protecting vulnerable individuals.

You will field reports from concerned individuals who are reporting potential abuse, neglect, abandonment, and exploitation of older adults and adults who are living with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Fielding inbound calls and electronic reports

• Interviewing individuals by phone and asking clarifying questions

• Taking detailed notes and entering information into a database

• Categorizing and prioritizing reports of need

• Triaging cases for follow up and investigation

Work setting and schedule

This is a fully remote position which will enable you to work from your home within Pennsylvania.

You will work from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday through Friday with 1 weekend day of on call each month.

Compensation and benefits

• $38,000 per year

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications

• Outstanding active listening, verbal communication, and writing skills

• Computer proficiency

• Pennsylvania residency

• Social worker or case manager

• Criminal justice or law enforcement

• 911 operator or EMS dispatcher

• Medical receptionist or healthcare intake worker
