Overview

Flexible Worker Contract 

Location: Remote (travel will be required to attend in person assessments) 

 

About the role

We’re seeking Independent End Point Assessors (IEPAs) to join our End Point Assessment team to deliver the following standard:

• Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor

This role could be a great fit if you have experience working as a Multi-Activity Leader, Environmental Education Tutor, Activity Instructor, Ranger, National Park Guide or similar positions.

In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. You'll use your industry knowledge and professional expertise to evaluate performance, maintain quality standards, and support learners in demonstrating their competence. 

 

Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Please make sure you can commit to this before applying.

 

How you'll make an impact:

• Delivering EPA in line with the Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor standards
• Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
• Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
• Communicating with apprentices, ITP’s and employers on EPA and grading

We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

• A recognised Assessor qualification

• At least 2 years' experience of working within the outdoor learning sector/ industry

• At least 12 months’ experience of responsibility for the workplace competence assessment of outdoor instructors, leaders or teachers

• A full, clean driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your region for face-to-face assessment delivery 

• Current contacts within the outdoor instructor / leader sector / industry, to show that you are maintaining hands on practical CPD

• Excellent IT skills and be competent with using systems such as Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
