Title: Assessment and Evaluation Manager

Job Description:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in program evaluation, survey administration, or assessment in higher education or K-12 education (medical education experience is strongly preferred). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Effective collaborator, comfortable working with faculty members, administrators, and instructional teams, and have clear written and verbal communication skills to explain curriculum changes Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively across teams. Proficiency with MS Office, LMS, data collection, analysis, and reporting, and use of curricular mapping systems or data visualization tools.
Job Summary
Provides strategic direction and facilitates goals related to the education programs for the school and serves as primary contact for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs/courses and initiatives. Contributes towards strategic planning, policy development, and best practices of program/course design. Leads the process of partnership development and initiates collaborative relationships with various state and national associations, government and community agencies, and business. Performs budgetary functions and research-based analysis.
Essential Functions
The Assessment and Evaluation Manager will be responsible for the following, including, but not limited to
- Managing course, clerkship, and program evaluation processes
- Overseeing curriculum mapping initiatives
- Supporting student assessment administration
- Manage the evaluation process for courses, clerkships, and other program elements including survey creation, administration, monitoring and reporting.
- Will collect, clean, and analyze evaluation data to identify trends, strengths, and area for improvement.
- Will prepare and distribute clear, actionable evaluation reports for faculty, course/clerkship director, committees, and leadership.
- Will provide evidence-based recommendations to improve teaching, learning, and curricular effectiveness. Will monitor response rates, identify challenges, and implement strategies to optimize student participation in evaluation.
- Will work closely with Office of Medical Education, Office of Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement, and other relevant departments to ensure cohesion across evaluation layout and process.
- Will support external survey processes as directed. Incumbent collaborates with faculty, staff, and leadership to ensure evaluation and assessment practices are accurate, efficient, and aligned with program outcomes.

Physical Effort
General office setting. Operates computers and other office equipment, communicate effectively with management contacts, perform under pressure. Incumbent is expected to move about Alan Magee Scaife Hall.
