JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Scranton's Center for Business Development and Community Outreach is seeking part time Youth Program Instructors.
These Youth Program Instructors are creative educators, who are enthusiastic and have a desire to teach children ages 6 – 16 to increase their interest and knowledge in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Instructors work with the Center’s staff to develop curriculum and monitor the program. Instructors are also responsible for supervising camp counselors.
Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experienced educators only
- Camp teaching experience preferred
- Participation in Mandated Reporter Training for this camp season and successful completion of background checks is a requirement for the position
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
• FBI Criminal Background Check.
