Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in web development, digital marketing, communications, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on web production experience in a CMS-driven environment, including at least 2 years working on Chinese-language web properties.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM / EDS.
- Professional fluency in Simplified Chinese and working proficiency in English.
- Experience publishing and maintaining multilingual content.
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
- Comfort working across time zones. The role includes weekly early-morning meetings with the China team.
Preferred
- Experience with other content management systems, such as Drupal.
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals for the Chinese market, including Baidu, and with digital marketing analytics.
Responsibilities:
About the role
- We are looking for a Web Production Specialist to build, publish, and maintain two Chinese-language websites, with the opportunity to contribute to our global site.
- You will hand-code pages in HTML for stakeholders in China, supporting SEO, new product launches, and digital campaigns. You will join a global team of marketers and web developers, and work with our design, SEO, and translation agencies to take projects from brief to launch.
- What you will do
- Code and produce pages in HTML, implement translated content, and test designs and layouts across the Chinese sites.
- Debug HTML, CSS, and rendering issues, and resolve them independently.
- Manage day-to-day web requests by triaging, prioritizing, and delivering to deadline.
- Support Chinese-language digital campaigns, including landing pages, campaign assets, and post-launch updates.
- Quality-check pages before publication for accuracy, layout integrity, and correct Chinese typography and character rendering.
- Work with our design and translation agencies to ensure translated content fits the design system and reads naturally in market.
- Contribute to global site production as capacity allows.
