Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated Virtual Intervention Specialist for a school-based opportunity serving middle school students throughout Ohio.

Position Highlights

Location: Remote (Ohio)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: $38/hour

Assignment Details

This is a fully remote Intervention Specialist position supporting middle school students in a virtual learning environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students achieve academic and personal success while providing specialized instruction, managing IEPs, and collaborating with educational teams to ensure students receive the support they need.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services in a virtual setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Utilize virtual learning platforms to deliver engaging instruction and student support
• Foster an inclusive and supportive online learning environment that promotes student growth and achievement

What You'll Need to Apply

• Updated Resume
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Previous school-based special education experience preferred
• Experience providing virtual instruction is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with the educational team
