Job Description:
Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Veterinary Recruiter to support efforts to attract top talent to our hospitals. This is a remote role, which requires travel as described below, open to candidates within the United States. Our ideal candidate will live and work in the greater Northeast area.
What you'll do
- Recruit for all credentialed positions within a hospital (Veterinarian & Veterinary Technicians)
- Utilizes social media and other networking platforms to proactively reach out to prospects and build strong candidate pipelines
- Post job advertisements on the company website, social media channels, and relevant job boards
- Performs interviews and evaluates the candidates' skills, knowledge, and experience
- Specializes in full cycle recruitment with a focus on candidate engagement
- Negotiates customized offers
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to post positions, track candidates through the process, and create and send offer letters
- Establishes relationships with veterinary schools and other industry associations
- Seeks innovative new sourcing strategies
- Attends career fairs and other relevant veterinary networking events
- Participate in team and individual projects as needed
- Supports various functions and takes on additional duties as business needs evolve
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Strong talent sourcing skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Organizational skills
- Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a veterinary recruiting capacity
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Campus and Student Externship program experience highly preferred
- Combines market intelligence with negotiation expertise to ensure competitiveness and relevance to create compelling offers
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records and understand written directions
- Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing equipment such as a computer, etc.
- Adheres to appropriate dress code
Work Environment
- Remote work environment with occasional requirements to travel to the corporate office and other work locations
- Must have previous experience working remotely
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality while working remotely
- Able to communicate effectively through all provided company devices, software, and platforms
- Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection is required while working remotely
