Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare’s Pharmaceutical Diagnostics team is seeking a Neurology Product Trainer to support the US and Canada (USCAN) radiopharmaceutical business. In this role, you will design, develop and deliver training that helps commercial teams build strong disease-state knowledge, product expertise, competitive understanding, and customer engagement skills across two Neurology radiopharmaceutical product lines. You will partner closely with sales leaders, cross-functional stakeholders, and subject matter experts to create learning experiences for new hires and ongoing field development. The ideal candidate is a collaborative learning professional who can connect training strategy to business priorities, strengthen field readiness, and help drive commercial performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with Neurology commercial leaders to define training priorities that support business
  •  
  • objectives, role-specific performance expectations, and measurable field behavior change.
  • Market and Product Expertise: Maintain current knowledge of Neurology disease states, products, competitors, and market dynamics, and partner with subject matter experts to keep training content accurate and relevant.
  • Curriculum Design and Delivery: Design, develop, and facilitate Neurology training across virtual, in-person, e-learning, and blended formats to build product knowledge, disease-state fluency, competitive understanding, and customer engagement capability.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Analyze training metrics and field feedback to assess effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate program impact and recommendations to business leaders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from sales representatives, sales leaders, and business stakeholders to refine the Neurology training program and improve learner experience, relevance, and impact.
  • Commercial Enablement: Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Sales Operations to integrate new tools, sales processes, and broader business initiatives into effective field training and adoption plans.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Work with first- and second-level sales leaders across two Neurology product lines to reinforce learning priorities, drive sustainment, and support consistent execution in the field.
  • Compliance and Review: Ensure all training content and programs comply with applicable regulatory requirements, company policies, and legal-medical-regulatory review standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external training partners to ensure high-quality deliverables, timely execution, and adherence to GE HealthCare policies and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training Experience: 3+ years of experience in life sciences learning and development, commercial training, sales enablement, or a related field; experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, or healthcare industry is preferred.
    • Demonstrated success designing, developing, and delivering learning programs that improve commercial readiness and performance.
    • Experience supporting field sales teams, product launches, disease-state education, or customer-facing capability development.
    • Neurology, radiopharmaceutical, imaging, diagnostic, or specialty pharmaceutical experience is highly valued but not required.
  • Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct field sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical technology, medical device, imaging, diagnostics, or specialty healthcare markets; demonstrated ability to translate sales strategy, customer insights, account planning, and objection handling into practical training that strengthens commercial execution.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Life Sciences, Communications, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
    • Professional certification in learning and development, training, facilitation, instructional design, or coaching such as CPTD, CPTM, ATD, or similar credentials is preferred but not required.
    • Desired Skills and Capabilities:
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage learners across virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments.
  • Experience with instructional design, curriculum development, adult learning principles, and learner-centered program design.
  • Ability to quickly build knowledge of Neurology disease states, treatment pathways, customer needs, and competitive market dynamics.
  • Comfort using learning technologies, sales enablement platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience partnering with legal, medical, regulatory, compliance, or promotional review teams to develop training content in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to manage agency, vendor, or external training partners to deliver high-quality work on time and within established standards.
  • Understanding of commercial sales processes, opportunity management, account planning, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific, clinical, or technical information into clear, practical learning experiences for commercial audiences.

Collaborative Environment:

This remote-based role offers the opportunity to work across a broad, collaborative network while supporting a growing USCAN Neurology radiopharmaceutical business. The position includes approximately 25% travel for field engagement, training delivery, business meetings, and team collaboration.

  • Partner with front-line Neurology Radiopharmaceutical US Commercial team members and first- and second-level sales leaders to support field readiness and learning sustainment.
  • Collaborate with regional US and Canada Neurology cross-functional leaders as well as global partners to align training with business priorities and product strategy.
  • Work closely with the extended Radiopharmaceutical Sales Training team to share best practices, coordinate learning initiatives, and strengthen commercial capability across the organization.
  • Engage with internal subject matter experts, external vendors, and business stakeholders to create high-quality learning experiences that support both new hire onboarding and ongoing development.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $128,000.00-$192,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
