Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex, data-intensive systems across historian and performance environments. You will work across the full software lifecycle, collaborate with engineers, and validate functionality, accuracy, and performance at scale.

This is a full-time, remote role.

_This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis._

Salary: $125,000 - $145,000/ yr. w2

**Responsibilities:**

+ Own end-to-end quality efforts across features and product areas.

+ Design and execute test strategies for complex, data-heavy systems.

+ Validate systems that handle large volumes of data and high-throughput workloads.

+ Develop and execute test cases for both data accuracy and system performance.

+ Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and troubleshoot issues.

+ Partner with engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.

+ Contribute to improving test frameworks, tools, and overall QA processes.

+ Participate in design reviews to ensure testability and scalability.

+ Provide clear, structured feedback during testing cycles.

**Experience Requirements:**

+ 3-5+ years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience.

+ Strong experience testing backend systems or data-driven applications.

+ Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, including joins and aggregations.

+ Hands-on experience validating large-scale datasets or high-volume systems.

+ Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.

+ Ability to test complex application environments and identify edge cases at scale.

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

+ Experience working in an agile, collaborative engineering environment.

+ Focus areas may include historian or data-focused QA and performance or system QA, including load, throughput, latency, and stability testing.

+ Strong preference for experience with high-throughput or distributed systems, performance testing tools and methodologies, time-series data concepts, and complex SQL for validation and debugging.
