Calling all driven, detail-oriented Project Managers who like to WIN!

Oak View Group’s Business Development team is looking for you. As a Senior Project Manager, Sales & Marketing Operations, you will own the creation and delivery of sales proposals, presentation materials, special projects, and other deliverables with the sole purpose of supporting our sales teams and driving business wins.

This role will be responsible for guiding final products from start to finish with significant attention to strategy, detail, brand voice, and storytelling. Success in the role requires a self-starter, collaborator, and multitasker who can independently manage multiple projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes and challenge mediocrity to win and retain business. This individual will bring a thoughtful, team-oriented mentality to support multiple teams and lines of business, while instilling a culture of confidence and success.

This role will pay a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 and is bonus eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full lifecycle of RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, presentations, and strategic sales deliverables from kickoff through submission.
  • Facilitate dynamic kickoff and strategy sessions that define win themes, differentiators, and messaging priorities.
  • Build detailed project plans, compliance matrices, schedules, and outlines that keep teams aligned and on track.
  • Establish priorities and deadlines across stakeholders, ensuring momentum never stalls.
  • Anticipate risks early, remove roadblocks, and escalate strategically when needed.
  • Partner with sales leads to translate competitive strategy into persuasive, client-centered narratives.
  • Write with clarity and authority, ensuring each document tells a cohesive story from start to finish.
  • Develop executive summaries, case studies, technical sections, team bios, and tailored content that resonates.
  • Elevate organization, flow, readability, and compliance to produce submissions that stand out and win.
  • Guide subject matter experts to refine content so it is accurate, current, and compelling.
  • Contribute to and refine templates, tools, graphic assets, and content libraries to increase efficiency and consistency.
  • Research industry trends and competitor positioning to sharpen our competitive edge.
  • Lead post-submission debriefs to capture lessons learned, strengthen accountability, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Challenge mediocrity and raise the standard on every pursuit.
  • Partner closely with Creative to translate win themes into impactful visual direction and design briefs.
  • Coordinate presentation prep sessions, rehearsals, and run-throughs for both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Work seamlessly with internal leaders, partners, and contributors across multiple lines of business.
  • Lead with a team-first mindset, stepping in where needed to ensure collective success.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with major course work in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field required.
  • Minimum of 4-6+ years in RFP response development, project management, and sales & marketing operations development.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communications skills; must have a thorough understanding of grammar and strong copy writing/editing skills.
  • High proficiency in applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • InDesign skills are a huge plus.
    • Loopio or other RFP management platform experience a huge plus.
  • Ability to work in a deadline in a results-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours and travel as needed, up to 20%.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
