About the Role
We’re looking for a strong full-stack developer who can build polished front-end experiences while also contributing across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack — from React interfaces and APIs to AWS infrastructure and modern AI-powered applications.
You’ll work on a mix of customer-facing applications, internal tools, integrations, and emerging AI/knowledge-graph initiatives. You'll partner with other members of our team, ensuring high-quality development practices and reliable project delivery.
This is a full-time permanent position and primarily remote, with a possibility to work from our downtown Toronto office for residents of that area.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Deploy and manage applications in AWS</li>
- Work with WordPress integrations and customizations where needed
- Collaborate on AI-powered workflows and data-driven applications
- Contribute to architecture, technical planning, and product decisions
- Improve application performance, reliability, and developer workflows
- Work closely with product, design, and leadership teams
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional web development experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex web platforms and integrations.
- Experience mentoring developers within a collaborative engineering environment.
- Strong front-end development experience with React
- Experience building full-stack web applications
- Solid JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Backend development experience (Node.js preferred)
- Experience with AWS services and deployment workflows
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows and modern development practices.
- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility standards, and security
- Comfortable working independently and owning projects
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- WordPress development or headless WordPress experience
- Experience with Graph Databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, etc.)
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs and workflows
- Experience with vector search, embeddings, or RAG architectures
- DevOps or infrastructure-as-code experience
- Experience in fast-moving startup or agency environments
