About the Role

Degreed is looking for a Senior Designer to help bring the next chapter of our brand to life.

This is a hands-on creative role for someone who loves making work that's sharp, thoughtful and useful. You'll work across brand and marketing touchpoints: campaigns, social, events, presentations, sales enablement, web, executive storytelling, product marketing and motion-led content.

You'll be part of a small, high-impact creative team working closely with Brand, Communications, Events, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales and Executive Leadership, translating complex ideas about workforce transformation, skills, learning technology and AI into work that's clear, human and memorable.

This role is for someone with strong design craft, high standards and real curiosity about where creative work is headed. You'll work across multiple tools, formats and channels, with an AI-first mindset. Motion design is a bonus, especially if you can bring static ideas to life through animation, video or simple storytelling sequences.
 

Key Skills

• Experience in graphic design, brand design, marketing design, digital design or a related creative role.
• A strong portfolio across brand, campaign, digital, social and presentation work, with fluency creating assets for web, events and sales materials.
• Exceptional attention to typography, layout, hierarchy, colour, imagery and composition, with high standards and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and compelling visual stories.
• Deep understanding of brand systems and how to apply them consistently across different touchpoints.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders, priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly, take feedback constructively, and work well with a team to make ideas better.
• Experience in using AI across concepting, image generation, layout exploration and production while maintaining sound creative judgment.
   

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience supporting a brand refresh, rebrand or visual identity evolution.
• Motion design, animation, video editing or storyboarding experience.
• Experience with tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Runway, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude or other emerging creative AI platforms.
• Experience designing for demand generation, product marketing, brand awareness, or large-scale events and executive storytelling.
• Knowledge of web design, UX principles and digital experience best practice.
• Experience creating templates, design systems, asset libraries or self-service brand tools.
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Experience working with freelancers, agencies or external production partners.
   

Key Responsibilities

• Create brand and marketing design
  • Design across campaigns, social, web, events, presentations, product marketing and executive storytelling, bringing strong craft to layout, typography and visual storytelling.
  • Turn complex B2B topics like workforce transformation, skills and AI into clear, memorable creative work that feels premium and unmistakably Degreed.
  • Adapt ideas across formats and tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, presentation platforms) without losing quality, including clean files and production-ready handover.

• Evolve the Degreed visual identity
  • Work with the Senior Creative Lead to strengthen and scale Degreed's visual identity across web, campaigns, events and sales materials.
  • Apply brand guidelines with care while helping evolve them, and build templates and reusable assets that plug into AI tools for the wider business.
  • Balance consistency with distinctiveness, avoiding rigid or over-templated work.

• Champion AI-first creative workflows
  • Use AI tools across concepting, image generation, layout exploration, presentation design and video to speed up production and free time for high-value creative thinking.
  • Work with the Senior Creative Lead to develop sensible standards for AI use, including quality, brand safety, transparency and creative judgement.
  • Stay close to emerging design tools and creative practices, and share useful learnings with the team.

• Partner across the business
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Client Solutions and Product to turn business goals and briefs into effective creative, improving brief quality along the way.
  • Balance creativity with practicality, pace, and commercial impact.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while explaining the reasoning behind design decisions clearly and constructively.

Compensation

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This role is under a CLT (Consolidation of Labor Laws) contract in Brazil.

The total monthly pay range for this role is R$14,000 - R$16,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and internal equity.
