Job Description
Shaping Victoria’s Energy Future
VicGrid is leading one of the most significant infrastructure transformations in Victoria’s history.

If you want your work to have real-world impact and deliver lasting benefits for all Victorians, this is a place where your contribution can make a real difference.
The Opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Governance and Reporting, Office of the CEO, works across the organisation to deliver high-quality coordination, advice, planning, governance and reporting. This role works collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure sound governance processes are followed, and coordinates key corporate and business planning and reporting activities.
The position offers an opportunity for a high-performing individual to work in a fast-paced environment supporting the organisation to deliver its high-profile work, crucial for Victoria's transition to renewable energy.
You can also refer to the Position Description for more information.
What You Will Deliver

Support the development and delivery of VicGrid's strategic and corporate planning processes, including the Corporate Plan, Annual Business Plan and other organisation-wide planning initiatives.
-
Support the delivery of Board, Executive and statutory reporting, including the Annual Report, with data-driven insights and evidence-based approaches to strengthen reporting quality and governance and enhance organisational capability.
-
Lead the coordination of key government requests, including the Public Accounts and Estimates Committee briefings, inter-departmental reporting, and other ad hoc requests.
-
Identify emerging risks to VicGrid and opportunities for process improvement, innovation, streamlining, and driving greater integration in the Office of the CEO and more broadly across VicGrid.
What You Will Bring
-
A sharp eye for detail and a way with words, creating high-quality documents, reports and communications that hit the mark.
-
Strong organisational and project delivery skills, confidently juggling competing priorities while keeping projects moving and stakeholders informed.
-
A collaborative approach and sound judgement. You enjoy building relationships and turning problems into practical solutions.
-
Confidence across the Microsoft 365 suite, leveraging tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and SharePoint to deliver great outcomes.
What We Offer You
-
Career advancement and professional development opportunities.
-
Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support for employees and their families.
-
