Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. Our products are trusted in more households than any other brand in the world, making us a household name!

Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

Role Summary

Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP), a division of Colgate-Palmolive Company, is dedicated to advancing oral health through innovative, evidence-based professional products and educational initiatives. We collaborate closely with dental professionals worldwide to provide solutions that address a wide range of oral health needs.

The Compliance Program Coordinator and Scientific Affairs Manager leads a robust compliance program while supporting scientific and clinical initiatives that advance Colgate’s scientific leadership. The role ensures adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies across clinical, scientific, educational, and commercial activities.

In parallel, the role supports Scientific Affairs and KOL management by identifying and engaging top-tier clinicians and educators, overseeing compliant contracting, logistics, and performance reporting, and ensuring all KOL activities uphold regulatory, legal, ethical, and compliance standards. The position also contributes to clinical, scientific, and commercialization strategies that strengthen product claims, drive differentiation, and support go-to-market efforts, acting as a scientific contact for Field teams and leveraging Technology Center publications and relationships to support business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies across all clinical, scientific, educational, and commercial activities, embedding compliance requirements into business decisions and processes.

  • Develop, maintain, and implement compliance policies, procedures, internal controls, and training (e.g., anti-bribery, promotion, data privacy, government expenditures, interactions with HCPs), while promoting an ethical culture and responsible business conduct.

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments; conduct risk assessments; and perform monitoring, audits, reviews, and control testing to identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance risks across operations and third parties.

  • Investigate potential compliance violations, coordinate incident response, liaise with Legal as appropriate, maintain robust documentation to demonstrate compliance, and use findings, metrics, and trends to continuously improve the compliance program.

  • Report compliance status, key risks, metrics, and significant issues to senior management and relevant governance bodies (e.g., compliance or audit committees).

  • Support initiatives that reinforce Colgate’s scientific image and credibility with the dental community, ensuring all KOL-related activities and materials meet regulatory, legal, compliance, and ethical standards.

  • Identify, evaluate, and engage top-tier clinicians, educators, and KOLs across specialties and geographies, developing structured tiers of engagement and managing operational aspects (e.g., contracting, compliance review, logistics, performance reporting, and social media plans with clear KPIs).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, ethics or risk management, internal audit or internal controls, regulatory affairs or legal support, preferably within healthcare, pharma, medical devices, or another highly regulated industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Regulatory and compliance knowledge, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, data privacy, marketing and promotion rules (particularly in healthcare/pharma), interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and government reporting/transparency requirements (e.g., Sunshine Act, spend reporting).

  • Experience in the dental industry.

  • Digital proficiency and experience within the health and/or pharma space.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.

  • Advanced project management skills (e.g., managing timelines, multiple stakeholders, and competing priorities).

Salary Range $86,000.00 - $107,500.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements.
