Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Practitioner (GP) to join Links Medical, the newly formed practice following the merger of Marine Lake Medical Practice and West Wirral Group Practice.

 

We are a well-established, friendly and supportive team of dedicated healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. We are committed to providing a positive experience for our patients while fostering a welcoming, inclusive and supportive working environment for all members of the team.

We are an innovative GMS research, teaching and training practice with 2 sites located in West Kirby and Thingwall, caring for over 33,000 patients and have an elderly patient demographic. The practice is made up of 17 GP partners, 9 salaried GPs, 5 ANPs, 9 Practice Nurses and 6 HCAs & 2 phlebotomists. The clinical team is supported by an efficient reception and admin team.

We are looking to recruit a salaried GP for 5 sessions per week on a permanent contract .

 

 

 

 

Main duties of the job

 

We are involved with Liverpool University Medical School and have a teaching ethos hosting medical students and train ST3s.

We offer additional services including minor surgery, contraceptive services, coil fittings and implants. Job responsibilities

 

You will work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. You will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.

• Qualified GP
• MRCGP
• Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP
• General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
