This role is critical in testing and inspection process to ensure ICT and partnering vendors release high-quality products that meet customers' expectations and requirements. It requires detail-oriented testers who can evaluate problems and implement consistent improvements, be technology agnostic and work autonomously in projects and operational environment.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks, automated regression suites, and API tests to support the delivery of high-quality, reliable digital services.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing testing processes, developing standards and automation practices, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and service delivery.

  • Provide technical leadership by championing testing best practices, contributing to solution design and technical roadmaps, and ensuring compliance with University quality standards and governance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business stakeholders and project teams to deliver innovative testing solutions, manage risks, and support successful project outcomes.

  • Monitor performance and report on outcomes by maintaining test automation pipelines, analysing quality metrics, and providing insights that drive informed decision-making and continuous optimisation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant training and demonstrated experience.

  • Extensive experience in test automation with a strong background in developing and maintaining automation frameworks, regression test suites, API testing, and CI/CD pipelines within Agile environments.

  • Demonstrated expertise in software testing and quality assurance, including the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), test methodologies, non-functional testing, performance testing, and quality governance.
