Overview
**This position is Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote, with flexibility to vary.**
Schedule:Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Purpose Statement/Position Summary:The Psychotherapist, under the supervision of a licensed clinician, provides psychotherapeutic services for a caseload of patients with acutely complex needs. Responsible for the assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services (i.e., psychotherapy) for a defined caseload of patients (ages 0-21) and their families. Completing at least one intake assessment per week. Employs evidence-based psychological treatment interventions and provides case management services as needed. Services are primarily clinic-based, but some field work is expected, depending on the needs of each individual case. This position works with other team members to support access to overall services and requires registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Will need to be flexible in changing clinical environments, the ability to collaborate with different disciplines in coordinating/providing care, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
Required:
- 1+ years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or their families/caregivers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance required for positions requiring field-based services.
Preferred:
- Experience with Department of Mental Health documentation and program.
- Experience working with children who have developmental disabilities or who are neurodiverse, as well as their families.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Experience in health care setting.
- Experience working in health care settings and with children, adolescents, and families.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology with previous experience in a child, adolescent, or family mental health setting.
- Registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) or as an Associate MFT (AMFT).
- BLS from the American Heart Association certification.
Pay Scale Information
USD $70,304.00 - USD $116,563.00
