Title: Project Coordinator-Senior

Location: San Antonio United States

Job Description:

Under general supervision, responsible for working within a multidisciplinary team providing clinical care to community child, adolescent, and adult outpatients with serious mental illness, substance use disorder, and other co-morbid conditions. This is a grant funded position sponsored by the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC). TCMHCC was created by the 86th Texas Legislature to leverage the expertise and capacity of the health-related institutions of higher education to address urgent mental health challenges and improve the mental health care system in this state in relation to children and adolescents. TCHATT (Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine), is one initiative of the TCMHCC and is designed to partner with school districts to provide mental and behavioral health care access to all students in the state of Texas.

 

This position will be a hybrid position working remote and/or on campus. Candidate being considered would need to live in SA, TX to be considered for both trainings and occasional required meetings.

Responsibilities

•    Directs the day-to-day supervision of Project Coordinators ensuring efficient delivery of services.
•    Provides schedules for staffing at respective clinic and provides support for staff and clinicians.
•    Provides in-service training and acts as a preceptor; coaches and assists with performance evaluations for Project Coordinator
•    Participates with leadership team to ensure effective clinical operations.
•    Reviews project proposals or plan to determine time frame, funding and procedures for accomplishing project.
•    Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, and coordinates activities of project personnel.
•    Serves as the project liaison and principal project coordinator between the various departments and stakeholders.
•    Reports to management on the development of the project.
•    Follows and supports established guidelines and ensures projects are administered according to protocol.
•    Complies with and helps enforce project specific policies and procedures.
•    May oversee staff by establishing objectives, providing direction, training and ongoing performance feedback.
•    Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge in project management methodologies, from conception to delivery.
  • Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.
  • Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five (5) years related experience is required.  

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:

  • None.
  • CPR certification preferred.
