JOB SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator provides operational and administrative oversight for a graduate-level program offering a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation degree. This role partners closely with faculty, students, and institutional stakeholders to support program delivery, including course logistics and student engagement. The coordinator ensures efficient day-to-day operations through management of schedules, communications, data tracking, and program documentation, requiring strong organizational and problem-solving skills consistent with administrative roles that support complex academic or research functions.

This is a full time, temporary position expected to last approximately 6-8 months and is ideal for candidates who can quickly integrate into a dynamic academic environment. The role operates in a hybrid format, combining on-site presence with remote work to support program needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting. This position plays a critical role in ensuring continuity and operational excellence during a defined program period.

This role is not remote- candidates would need to be available to be on site Mondays and Wednesdays.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field.

Preferred

Master's Degree in related field.

Experience

A minimum of two years' experience in higher education. UME/GME experience accepted in lieu of higher education experience.

A combination of education/experience may be accepted in lieu of above requirements.

JOB DUTIES

  • Coordinate all aspects of student enrollment, and progression for the Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) Program and the Certificate in Clinical Investigation Program.
  • Advise and support students regarding degree requirements, course registration, academic policies, and program milestones.
  • Manage communication and collaboration with faculty, mentors, program leadership, and administrative offices to ensure student success.
  • Organize and oversee program operations, including orientation sessions, seminars, workshops, committee meetings, and special events.
  • Maintain student records, track academic progress, and prepare reports to support accreditation, compliance, and program assessment activities.
  • Develop and update program materials, handbooks, forms, and website content to ensure accurate and consistent information for students and faculty.
  • Provide administrative support for research training initiatives, mentor matching, graduation requirements, and continuous program improvement efforts.
  • Administer and coordinate day to day operations for the MSCI graduate student program.
  • Various administrative and clerical assignments filled on an as needed basis.
