Job Description:

About Super.com

We started Super.com to help maximize lives both the lives of our customers and the lives of our team so that everyone can experience all that life has to offer. For our employees, our promise is that Super.com is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to unlock one’s potential, where learning is celebrated and impact is realized.

We are more than a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; we care about our people and take career progression seriously. This is your career and our aim is to supercharge it through the people, the work, and the programs that fuel who we are.

About the role

This Product Designer II role contributes to our Core App Experiences and helps shape how millions of members engage with Super.com. You will own the design work for features within your pod, partnering closely with product and engineering to ship polished, production-ready experiences. The role offers strong opportunities to grow your strategic thinking, deepen your craft, and influence the experiences members rely on every day. It is ideal for a designer who has a solid foundation in execution, is eager to expand their impact, and wants to learn from senior designers while contributing meaningfully to a high-velocity team.

About the team

This role is part of the Product Design team that spans multiple product verticals across the Super.com app. The team is responsible for delivering a cohesive, high-quality end-to-end experience for our members. Designers collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and data partners to define strategy, launch experiments, and iterate quickly based on insights. Craft excellence, data-informed decision making, and cross-functional partnership are core to how this team operates. As a mid-level designer, you will be supported by senior designers and your manager through regular critique, mentorship, and clear growth opportunities, while contributing your own perspective to evolve our design system and product practice.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Designing and shipping features within your pod, from concept and user flows through high-fidelity visuals and developer-ready handoff

  • Collaborating daily with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems, surface trade-offs, and explore solutions

  • Bringing multiple reference points into your process before starting work, including goals and metrics, quantitative data, competitive analysis, past research, and stakeholder conversations

  • Creating prototypes and flows for unmoderated usability testing, iterating quickly on findings, and participating in moderated research with the support of UX Research

  • Proposing and running focused research projects within your domain, guided by UX Research, to validate assumptions and inform design decisions

  • Contributing to roadmap and OKR planning by surfacing design opportunities, identifying paths and states that need to be accounted for, and "designing ahead" so larger solutions can be scaled back into shippable iterations

  • Applying our design system correctly and following the right process to propose new components when a gap is identified

  • Engaging stakeholders through alignment sessions and async communication, following up thoughtfully on feedback and incorporating it into your solutions

  • Actively participating in critique, soliciting feedback from your manager and peers, and identifying personal growth opportunities

What we’re looking for:

  • 2-4 years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showing high craft and shipped work

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply a design system, including knowing when and how to propose new components

  • Proficiency creating prototypes for usability testing and quickly iterating based on findings

  • Comfort partnering with product managers, engineers, and researchers within a pod, with active participation in pod ceremonies and strong working relationships

  • Ability to balance thorough, longer-term thinking with shippable, iterative solutions

  • Solid systems thinking, including the ability to identify paths, states, and edge cases and articulate them clearly to engineering

  • Clear communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting your work to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Expertise in Figma and modern product design tooling

  • Strong visual craft with a sharp eye for typography, hierarchy, and spacing, and the ability to translate design system tokens into production-ready work that feels considered down to the pixel.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience designing for consumer-facing mobile applications

  • Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation tools such as Amplitude

  • Experience using AI tools in your design workflow to accelerate exploration, content generation, or prototyping.

  • Active engagement with design critique and a track record of giving and receiving thoughtful feedback

We’ve got you covered:

At Super.com, we believe in supporting our team so they can thrive both at work and in life.

• Remote-First Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the world and choose the hours that suit you best

• Time to Recharge: Unlimited PTO, company-wide recharge days, and annual team offsites

• Everyday Perks: Weekly UberEats credits and travel discounts on SuperTravel

• Family-Friendly Benefits: Generous parental leave and a flexible return-to-work plan

• Comprehensive Compensation: Competitive salary, equity options, annual bonus, retirement matching, and full benefits from day one

• Investing in You: Wellness budgets, personal development funds, and team-level learning resources
