We’re currently seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to travel and support multiple Johnson Family Dental offices in the area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is looking for a consistent, part-time schedule.

 

Candidates interested in additional hours or full-time opportunities may have the option to support General Dentistry in addition to Ortho.

 

Schedule (days/hours)
Every Monday & Tuesday 8am - 5pm (working 8 days a month)Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned office locations to provide orthodontic assisting support.

• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment, including reviewing medical history, seating patients, and explaining procedures.

• Assist orthodontist with procedures such as bonding, banding, adjustments, impressions, and removal of appliances.

• Take and process digital radiographs, intraoral scans, impressions, and photographs.

• Sterilize, disinfect, and prepare instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.

• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions.

• Maintain accurate patient records and charting as directed by the orthodontist.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.

• Support team members and assist with scheduling, patient flow, and office operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Ortho Assisting experience 
• CPR  or BLS 
• X-Ray Certification 

Compensation
$29 - $30/hrAbout Us
