Job Description:
The Good and the Beautiful is looking for a qualified, motivated individual to help create upper level math curriculum.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Write math curriculum (lessons, solutions, scripts, and other materials) as assigned by Sr. Math Director. Work cooperatively with the Math Director and Math Team for each project. Review content for appropriateness, accuracy, clarity, and other factors as assigned. Lay out lessons and solutions in InDesign as needed. This position will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Functions
1. Write curriculum and solutions manuals.
2. Create math equations and graphing files using programs such as MathType and Graph Free as needed.
3. Review curriculum and scripts as needed.
4. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are between Monday through Saturday. Expected hours: 37-40 hours a week.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, math education, or a related field.
2. Experience teaching high school level math (specifically Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2), including creation of lessons and lesson plans.
3. Preference given to individuals with Adobe InDesign experience.
