We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Creative Copywriter to join our team! You will be responsible for writing original and compelling omni channel content for Kmart’s internal and external communications.

We’re looking for someone curious and adaptable, excited to explore emerging technologies and future-focused solutions to drive smarter, innovative outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

As a Marketing Creative Copywriter working for Kmart you will:          

• Write compelling, on‑brand copy across digital, social, app, EDMs and internal communications

• Edit, proof and manage feedback to ensure every word is polished and purposeful

• Be a guardian of Kmart’s tone of voice — and help it grow as our channels evolve

• Keep projects moving, communicating clearly with your manager, peers and agency partner

• Contribute to ideation for initiatives in response to marketing and product briefs.
• Work both independently and closely with an Art Director to conceptualise
   

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
 

• 2 years' relevant industry experience copywriting for large‑scale, end‑to‑end campaigns within a brand or agency environment
• Understand sales and marketing strategies and objectives to inform creative copy outputs
• Long and short form copywriting experience, with the ability to understand brand personality, position and tone of voice. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Solid understanding of how digital content is consumed and presented
• Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing deadlines in busy environment.
• Ability to produce quick creative copy and headlines and come up with ideas under pressure.
