PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking IT Software Engineer 3 for one of our top Client for Location - Newport News, VA - Remote
Job Description:
1st Shift 7:30am - 4pm
Top 3 skill the candidate must have: ASP.Net WebForms , .Net Framework, Angular
Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software
Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements
May design embedded systems software
Location: Remote Position however, when they come on-site the building will be 88
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience
Master's Degree and 3 years of experience. Ph.D. and 0 years of experience
4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
Core Technical Skills
- ASP.Net WebForms - Deep understanding of page lifecycle, server controls, view state, and event-driven programming
- .Net Framework 4.7 - Proficiency in C# or VB.NET, understanding of .NET ecosystem
- SQL Server - T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, query optimization
- ADO.Net - DataSet, DataReader, connection management
- NestJS - TypeScript-based backend framework, dependency injection, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture
- Angular - TypeScript-based frontend framework, components, services, reactive programming
- TypeScript - Strong typing and modern JavaScript features
- Node.js - Runtime environment and npm ecosystem
Web Technologies
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript - Client-side development and integration with server controls
- AJAX - Asynchronous operations and partial page updates
- JSON/XML - Data serialization and exchange formats
Development Environment
- Visual Studio - IDE proficiency for debugging and development
- SQL Server Management Studio - Database administration and querying
- Source Control - Git, TFS, or similar version control systems
