The Job:  

As a Human Resources Manager, you’ll be part of our HR team supporting Product Execution & Engineering working as a hybrid employee.  You’ll get to:  

  • Serve as a strategic and hands-on HR partner supporting 5 leaders within the Engineering team and approximately 300 employees. The position combines business partnership, employee relations, talent support, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day HR execution.
  • Partner directly with Engineering leaders to align people strategies with business priorities and organizational goals.
  • Support approximately 300 employees across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with leaders and employees while providing sound HR guidance and coaching.
  • Advise leaders on performance management, employee development, talent planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support annual HR processes such as merit planning, performance reviews, and development planning.
  • Partner with leaders on employee relations matters, including coaching, performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation.
  • Facilitate onboarding, internal movement, promotions, and organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and centers of excellence on compensation, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, and training support.
  • Lead or support change management initiatives and communications tied to business and team priorities.
  • Use HR metrics, reporting, and workforce insights to inform decision-making and improve business outcomes. 
  • Maintain compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and employee experience.

 

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, ideally in a Human Resources Manager, HR Business Partner, or senior HR generalist capacity.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity being onsite at our Towson, Maryland office Tuesday through Thursday, and as business needs require.
  • Experience supporting Engineering, technical, or corporate client groups preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, performance management, change management, and employment standards.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
