Join Our Team as a HR Business Partner at Epiroc!
The Human Resources Business Partner's primary responsibility is to provide HR support to all employees and managers within her/his respective region or area or expertise. Support will include all HR aspects such as, recruitment, people management, performance development, training development, workforce planning, policy development and implementation, etc.

Work Location: Lively, Canada or Mississauga, Canada

Work Type : Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with all levels of leadership
  • Consult with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.  Partner with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to supervisors and managers (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc)
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit structures and restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual management/supervisory coaching needs
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs, and follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management processes and principles.
  • Knowledge of organization, operating procedures, and policies of the human resource department.
  • Knowledge of good techniques of interviewing, selecting and recruiting applicants for employment.
  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and processes.
  • Relevant computer software and hardware applications knowledge
  • 3-5 years of general Human Resources Generalist experience
  • the person must be bilingual (French and English)
