Salary/Position Classification
- $15.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 5-10 hours per week

Purpose of Position
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The Computer Science department is hiring upper-class students as Undergraduate Teaching Assistants in the SEECS Help Center, a tutoring lab for undergraduate students. The lab will be held in Leonard Hall 112. Flexible schedules will be available.
The goal is to establish a help center for our students with fixed times and locations, so students always know when and where help will be available, with the objective of ensuring the tutoring lab can provide timely assistance to our students. This position is for on-campus students only at this time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assisting other students in CS110 with programs required for CS courses.
- Assisting other students with CS242, CS265, and CS330
Minimum Requirements
- Current Junior or Senior undergraduate SEECS Student
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
- Comfortable with basic HTML/Scratch/Python, CS130 (C), CS160 (Python), or CS161 (Python)
- Ability to help with CS242, CS265 (new course using C/C++/Python and Java at an introductory level), or CS330 (C) is a bonus.
