WORK LOCATION – Denver, CO; or a location deemed suitable by the Center e.g., near major airport and a state where the Center has established business operations. Current states eligible for remote work: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, MO, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The starting pay range for this position is $26.82 - $29.17 per hour, and will be commensurate with background and experience.

SUMMARY
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is a non-profit organization focused on ending all forms of abuse in sport. We endeavor to lead the movement to make sport safer for all through abuse prevention, education, and accountability.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Graphic Designer supports all Center departments, external partners, and grant-based initiatives, to help with the execution on all design projects. A keen eye for detail is essential as well as an eye for aesthetics combined with knowledge of graphic, digital, and technical design elements. This position supports the creative team within the External Affairs department.
Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively with the External Affairs team and multiple cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception.
- Create and edit graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Format graphics as well as collect, process and proof various graphics files.
- Assist design team in producing print, packaging, advertising, emails, website, and digital graphics.
- Interpret the team’s concepts into a design that will deliver an effective user experience.
- Create, manage, and produce digital design solutions for a variety of uses: websites, product graphics, email templates, social media graphics, brand campaigns, and photography.
- Transform wireframes into intuitive user interfaces.
- Ensure consistency in design and content across all platforms.
- Follow project workflow and timeline to ensure projects progress in a timely manner.
- Stay on top of latest standards, best practices, processes, and trends in visual design field.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Required)
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Highly proficient in web, social media and email design.
- Highly proficient in working with WordPress.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in WCAG accessibility standards in digital and documents formats.
- Strong portfolio/website that supports the above qualifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a creative software management platform.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot, understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Illustration and infographic design experience.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital and visual arts, or related field
Work Experience Required
- 3+ years of formal graphic design experience
- Agency or media company experience highly preferred
