About the role
We’re offering a new and unique opportunity to join Northern NSW Local Health District as a Specialist Virtual/Hybrid Medical Pharmacist, supporting a diverse and busy regional health service.
This role is ideal for a motivated pharmacist who thrives working both independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient safety. You will play a key role in shaping services and building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
In this position, you will deliver comprehensive clinical and pharmaceutical services across designated specialty areas, while providing operational oversight of pharmacy services in general medical wards and outpatient clinics. This dynamic role spans clinical, dispensary, and managerial responsibilities, offering real variety and impact.
You will also contribute to the training and development of pharmacy staff, alongside leading the review and implementation of protocols and policies to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice standards.We are seeking a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills who is confident building relationships and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient centred care that supports optimal health outcomes.
As this is a newly established role, there is flexibility for onsite attendance as negotiated.
