The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University invites applications for a part-time position as Director of the AU Gospel Choir. The position is available for Fall 2026. Anderson University is a comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply. Pay rates are commensurate with credentials and experience.
Qualifications: Professional experience in leading choral ensembles and a successful record of directing choral ensembles at the collegiate level is preferred. A doctorate or master’s degree in music is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in music is required.

Each of the three units within the South Carolina School of the Arts are fully accredited by their respective national accrediting agencies (NASM, NASAD, and NAST).
