Job Description:
The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University invites applications for a part-time faculty of Music in Applied Trombone and Brass Ensemble. The position is available for August 2026. Anderson University is a comprehensive, liberal arts institution affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply. Pay rates are commensurate with credentials and experience.
Qualifications: Professional experience in trombone performance and expertise in trombone pedagogy within diverse genres of classical & contemporary music. Candidates should demonstrate strong musicianship and a successful record of teaching at the collegiate level is preferred. A doctorate or master’s degree in music is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in music with trombone as a primary instrument is required.
