Job Description:

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Columbus, OH(Remote). The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Advanced Java and CI/CD practices, a core qualification for delivering high‑quality, efficient software solutions.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

• Develop, configure, and maintain high‑quality Java applications, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, automated testing, and seamless deployment processes.

• Perform thorough unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure stability, performance, and reliability of applications.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and support existing custom‑built or packaged applications.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system changes to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer.

• Provide support during production implementations, including limited off‑hours participation to ensure smooth and successful deployments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

• 4-6 years of hands‑on experience in software development, specifically with Java technologies.

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Java concepts and proven experience building, maintaining, and enhancing Java-based applications.

• Solid understanding of DevOps practices with practical experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment workflows.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
