Job Description:
About the Role
Torus is building energy infrastructure that will power communities for decades — and we are hiring a Designer who can make that story impossible to ignore.
You'll work across the full spectrum of visual communication: motion graphics that bring complex grid technology to life, sales materials that sharpen our pitch, campaign creative that drives demand, and web experiences that convert. This isn't a role where you execute briefs in a vacuum — you'll be a creative partner across brand, content, product marketing, and web, helping shape how the world understands and trusts Torus.
Responsibilities
- Produce motion graphics and data visualizations that make complex energy, grid, and product concepts clear and engaging.
- Create animated 2D and 3D assets for video, web, social, sales, and event content.
- Develop sales enablement materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, case studies, and presentation templates.
- Produce digital and print ad creative across paid social, display, trade publications, direct mail, and event signage.
- Create graphics and layouts for social, blog, email, and other content marketing assets.
- Develop web pages, landing pages, and UI components for torus.co in partnership with marketing and development.
- Build and maintain visual systems that improve consistency across sales, marketing, and web touchpoints.
- Translate technical product concepts, system data, and performance claims into simple, high-clarity visuals.
- Partner closely with brand, content, product marketing, and web teams to support campaigns, launches, and sales efforts.
- Manage multiple design projects at once and deliver high-quality work on tight timelines.
Required Experience
- 4+ years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or brand design roles.
- Strong portfolio showing motion graphics, marketing design, presentation design, and web/UI work.
- High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Strong design fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition.
- Experience creating sales collateral and campaign creative in a B2B environment.
- Ability to work across static, animated, digital, and print formats.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Ability to move quickly without sacrificing clarity, taste, or quality.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in energy, climate tech, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other technical B2B industries.
- Experience with Figma for web design, landing pages, and UI systems.
- Familiarity with 3D tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar.
- Experience turning technical concepts and performance data into clear visual communication.
- Experience designing for websites tied to lead generation and conversion.
- Familiarity with HubSpot templates, email design, and campaign asset production.
- Experience working within and helping evolve a growing brand system.
