The Role

UST is searching for a Databricks Engineer with strong hands-on experience, Python experience working on Java BE, Rest API, familiarity with Databricks pipelines and notebooks is a must.

 

What You’ll Do

· Develop reusable and efficient code for large-scale data processing workloads.

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions using Python and Java.

· Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.

· Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across data platforms.

· Develop and maintain Databricks notebooks and workflows.

· Design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks.

· Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and improve processing efficiency.

· Collaborate with data architects to implement scalable lakehouse solutions.

· Design and develop RESTful APIs for data access and integration.

What You Need

· Experience range : 8-10 Years

· Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

· Good understanding of data analytics and data processing

· Experience with data synthesis/generation

 

Location & Compensation

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote - US

Compensation Range: $94,000-$141,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
