About the role
We are looking for a Chapter Lead - Full Stack and Experience to build capability, strengthen technical excellence, and support the growth of a highly skilled engineering chapter. You will lead engineers across React, Java, Spring Boot and Adobe AEM, creating an environment where people can learn, innovate, and perform at their best. Working closely with Product Owners and technology leaders, you will help deliver digital outcomes that support our Digital First strategy.
What you''ll do
- Lead, coach, develop and mentor a chapter of Full Stack Engineers.
- Partner with Tribe Leads and Product Owners to align engineering capability with current and future delivery needs.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, practices and guardrails.
- Create an inclusive environment where engineers can innovate, experiment and continuously improve.
- Support workforce planning, recruitment and retention activities.
- Collaborate across technology practices to improve delivery outcomes.
- Accountable for performance management; overseeing, providing feedback, and developing Chapter members to help improve domain and capability knowledge.
What you''ll bring
- 5+ years' experience leading engineering teams within complex technology environments.
- Proven experience developing, coaching and engaging technology professionals.
- Capability in workforce planning, resource allocation and navigating organisational change.
- Strong technical knowledge across modern full stack development. Experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, APIs or Adobe AEM will be highly regarded.
- Practical knowledge and experience in the application of Agile and Scaled Agile.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build trusted relationships across teams.
