Position Overview
Owensboro Community and Technical College is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach BAS 256: International Business in the Business, Health, and Public Services Department.
This is a fully remote, temporary adjunct faculty position. The course is delivered online in an 8-week format.
Job Duties
- Provide learner-centered online instruction in the discipline.
- Stay informed of developments within the field and keep the program up to date.
- Prepare lesson plans and conduct instructional activities in theory and practice.
- Create syllabi and set up assigned courses in the College's learning management system according to college standards.
- Record grades and submit reports.
- Maintain and care for training materials.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution or 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
- Experience teaching international business courses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Digital learning experience and working knowledge of Blackboard or a similar learning management system.
- Experience teaching or training in a higher education setting, preferably in business or a related field.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with college personnel and external business and community partners.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
