JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Scranton, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Part Time Assistant Coach in the sport of Women`s Volleyball within the Department of Athletics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Practice preparation

• Player development

• Game day coaching

• Recruiting

• Supervising both player personnel under the head coach

• Additionally, the Assistant Coach must be well versed in the sport of volleyball with previous coaching experience preferred. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
