Job Summary

The Retail Assistant Manager is a part-time, hourly position responsible for supporting retail and e-commerce operations for the Salt Lake Bees Team Store. This role manages online sales, inventory, order fulfillment, and customer service, while assisting with merchandise planning, website management, game-day operations, and team member training. The position requires a professional, customer-focused approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work an event-based schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, development, and management of the Salt Lake Bees Team Store website.
• Oversee online order processing, fulfillment, and customer service.
• Collaborate with the Bees marketing team to develop holiday collections, seasonal merchandise, and featured products.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure merchandise details are correct.

Store Operations & Customer Service

• Assist the General Manager with daily and game-day store operations.
• Train and support new team members.
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive customer service to both online and in-person customers.
• Assist customers with purchases, product questions, and order-related concerns.
• Participate in in-person and virtual meetings with relevant departments to support team goals and operational needs.

Job Expectations

• Maintain a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor at all times.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail in merchandise design, website management, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability, including availability on weekdays, weekends, and select holidays as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Follow all established safety procedures, store policies, and operational guidelines.
